You can apply for a Schengen visa (i.e. a short-term visa) for a stay not exceeding 90 days within 180
days. The Schengen visa is valid for
26 countries, which means that you can travel freely between all countries in
the Schengen state once you enter any Schengen country.

The visa process
is handled by VFS global, you will
need to submit the documents and give the biometrics at the visa centers listed below. Register
online at https://visaonweb.diplomatie.be and complete your visa application online (handwritten
application forms will not be accepted). Bring a printed copy of the
application form that is emailed to you when you are finished. Further

The process of applying for a Belgium visa from Pakistan
Following are the steps according to visa types
Pakistan Tourist Visa Requirements
1. Short-stay visa
application form duly completed online and signed by the applicant. In the
case of minor(s), the form must be signed by both parents.
2. Two (2) recent photographs of the candidate. Please check
the photography specifications here
3. An ordinary passport or other recognized travel document
valid for at least three months from the expiry date of the requested visa. This document must have
at least two empty pages. Please bring previous passports, if any, and attach
to the application copies, on A4 paper, of the pages used.
4. Photocopy of your national identity card
5. Third-country nationals residing in Pakistan must provide
supporting documents certifying the legality and authorized duration of their
stay here.
6. Original and Photocopy of Family Registration Certificate
issued by NADRA (in English or with a certified translation if in Urdu)
7. For minor children (under 18) traveling with a single
parent, written authorization from the other parent is required with a
photocopy of their CNIC card.
8. Original signed letter from applicant's company/employer
stating name, position, salary, length of employment, employer's address and
telephone numbers, purpose and duration of the visit to the Schengen state(s).
If the applicant is a “student”, original signed letter from the applicant’s
school/college or university.
9. Supporting documents for personal income:
• Original bank statements for the last six months
• Certificate of National Tax Number (NTN) for the previous
two years and proof of payment of income tax (FBR)
• Three last pay slips
10. Proof of accommodation (confirmed hotel reservation, the
rental agreement clearly showing your name, rental period dates, and
accommodation address) covering the entire duration of the trip. See the
possibility of hotel reservation exemption (only in Belgium)
11. Copy of flight reservation(s).
12. If the trip is organized, attach a detailed itinerary.
13. Original AND a copy of a travel medical insurance policy
of at least 30,000 Euros. The policy must cover medical and hospitalization
costs for the entire period of valid stay in the Schengen territory as well as
repatriation costs. See the valid list of authorized travel insurance companies
in Pakistan as agreed by Schengen partners in Islamabad.
The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents.
Unnecessary original documents will be returned with the
passport, but only if copies are provided by the applicant as requested
Belgium Business Visa from Pakistan Requirements
1. Short-stay visa
application form duly completed online on the website.

• Certificate from the Chamber of Commerce valid for the
current year
• Recommendation for business

9. A letter of invitation from the private or public body
established in Belgium, in the name
of the applicant and indicating the dates of the trip.

purchase orders)

Additional information for Belgium Visa
Be honest when submitting applications, do not enter wrong
information or submit false or falsified documents, if the visa has been rejected in the past, enter the appropriate reason or
rejection. The Schengen visa refusal
rate from Pakistan is very high. Provide as many documents as possible to
reassure the visa advisor you are
going to visit and that you will return on time.
The more links you show with Pakistan, the easier it will be
for you to get the visa. If you pay
taxes to FBR in Pakistan, submit your tax returns for the current year and
several previous years, but make sure the income you report on your forms
matches the income you reported on your returns of income. If you have a
