The Malaysian eVISA

electronically which allows stays of up to thirty (30) consecutive days. An
approved eVISA is valid to enter Malaysia for three (3) months from the date of
issue. The applicant's passport must be valid for at least six (6) months at

The Malaysian eVISA
EVISA is an electronic travel authorization issued by the
Malaysian Government. While eVISA is equivalent to a visa, no label or stamp is
placed in the traveler's passport. EVISA is required to enter or travel to
Malaysia.
Visitors entering Malaysia for tourism are required to
present a valid eVISA at the port of entry.

Checkpoint requirements to enter Malaysia
All visitors traveling with an eVISA must present the
following documents upon arrival at the port of entry into Malaysia:

Proof of accommodation;

Confirmed return flight reservation;
·
Printed copy of the approved eVISA;
·
Passport valid for at least 6 months (must be
the one used to complete the eVISA application);
·
Sufficient funds (cash/travelers checks/debit or credit cards) to cover expenses during your stay in Malaysia.
Verify Malaysia eVISA status
Malaysia eVISA applicants will receive email updates and
notifications regarding the status of their application. Once completed and
approved, the eVISA will be emailed directly to the requester.
Application for the Malaysian eVISA
To apply for an eVISA for Malaysia, tourists must have a
valid passport, credit card and email address.
Please note that all information provided in the online
application - including name, date and place of birth, address, gender,
nationality and passport number - must appear in exactly the same way as they
are listed on the passport or other legal information travel document.
