315 Coronavirus Cases in Croatia


As of March 23, 2020, 306 patients with coronavirus (COVID-19) had been reported in Croatia.
Note that koronavirus.hr now maps cases by county instead of city / town. The index continues to map coronavirus cases by city / town. Total Croatia News will share the maps from both sources and will include the date / time of the last map update. Koronavirus.hr will update its card after the daily press conferences at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CET. Index map updates happen regularly.

A deceased Istra man was infected with the coronavirus, but his cause of death has not been confirmed (previous maps showed his death as the first coronavirus patient).

These two maps will be updated throughout the day when the locations of the 52 additional cases are revealed.

More than 14,923 people died from the virus, which originated in the city of Wuhan, China. More than 343,818 cases have been confirmed worldwide. There are 262,725 cases outside of mainland China. Italy has reported 59,138 cases and 5,476 deaths.

Entry into Republic of Croatia


From midnight on March 19, 2020; crossing the border into the Republic of Croatia is temporarily limited. Social Distancing Measures Implemented


Also on March 19, 2020; it is compulsory to strictly observe anti-epidemic measures and strict measures of social distance. A strict measure of social distance requires avoiding close personal contact at a distance of at least:
