Purpose of Entertainment?

Entertainment purpose is to build happiness and strong bond of communication between people so they can have some quality time after spending tiresome day. Therefore, we have developed many entertainment methods time to time from discovering different techniques for developing music to new sources of communication like computers, TV and radio stations. All these means have brought booming change in our continuous life routines; although many entertainments have a serious purpose. This may be the case in the various forms of ceremony, celebration, religious festival, or satire for example. Hence, there is the possibility that what appears as entertainment may also be a means of achieving insight or intellectual growth.

Entertainment is a form of activity that holds the attention and interest of an audience or gives pleasure and delight. It can be an idea or a task, but is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for keeping an audience's attention. Although different things hold people’s attention, because individuals have different preferences in entertainment, most forms are recognizable and familiar. Storytelling, music, drama, dance, and different kinds of performance exist in all cultures, supported in royal courts, developed into sophisticated forms and over time became available to all citizens. The process has been accelerated in modern times by an entertainment industry that records and sells entertainment products. Entertainment evolves and can be adapted to suit any scale, ranging from an individual who chooses a private entertainment from a now enormous array of pre-recorded products.

The experience of being entertained has come to be strongly associated with amusement, so that one common understanding of the idea is fun and laughter. Entertainment in this age of globalization has played an important role in tackling social issues.

In earlier history of humanity, the source of entertainment was less that anybody was capable of counting them over the fingers. With time, the human race started evolving and developing new sources of entertainment. Now let’s discuss all those means of entertainment that took us centuries to build.

Music: 

We are all fond of music and in our spare time. Music is a supporting component of many kinds of entertainment and most kinds of performance. For example, it is useable to enhance storytelling, it is indispensable in dance and opera, and is usually incorporated into dramatic film or theatre productions. This evolution of music is centuries old. Music kept evolving from time to time among different nations with different variations. Depending on the rhythm, instrument, performance and style, music is divided into many genres, such as classical, jazz, folk, rock, pop music or traditional. Since the 20th century, performed music, once available only to those who could pay for the performers, has been available cheaply to individuals by the entertainment industry, which broadcasts it or pre-records it for sale. There are many musical instruments like guitar, drums, piano, flute and many others you know. In our twenty-first century, music is available in every corner of the world because of technology. We can combine music together with help of computers and music composing hardware and software. Because of it, unique music content is produced every day. New albums of singers are coming to market and available online everywhere around the world.

Television: 

The invention of TV and cameras took the world into a different time zone. So much content is being produced and accessible to watch on TV. From documentaries, talk shows and movies of all kinds. Also different musical events are available just on your one click of remote button.

Through TV and entertainment, people are spreading awareness over different types of important issues. Content is the main ingredient of any entertainment industry. Many fine writers and film producers are busy in producing fine content. Content can be immature or mature for adults and people of different ages.

Comedy: 

Comedy is both a genre of entertainment and one of its components, providing laughter and entertainment, regardless of whether comedy serves as the sole purpose or form of opposition in an otherwise serious work. He is a valuable contributor to many forms of entertainment, including literature, theater, opera, film, and games.

Entertainment Parks: 

Many nations and Governments have prepared amusement parks in societies for peoples especially for children to help them in their physical and psychological growth. Entertainment parks include big playgrounds, basketball courts, football courts, animal zoo and swings of many kinds. Many parks even have swimming pools. There is so much to enjoy from food to play in entertainment parks in other words a great place to visit.

Children's Entertainment: 

Children's entertainment is centered on play and is significant for their growth. Adults and many activities teach entertainment to children. Which appeal to them such as puppets, clowns, pantomimes and cartoons to enjoy. There are also many games to play like cricket, football and school games for the entertainment of children.

Games:  

Games are played for entertainment, sometimes just for entertainment, sometimes also for achievement or rewards. They can be played alone, in teams or online; by amateurs or professionals. Players can have a non-player audience, like when people entertain themselves by watching a chess championship. On the other hand, players in a game can build their own audience while taking turns playing. Often part of the entertainment for children playing a game is deciding whom part of their audience is and who is a player.

There are many digital games available as well to play. They are also emerging among society and kids. We can play video games with the help of consoles over computers and play stations. Video games are the most creative means of entertainment where you can play almost all kinds of games. In other words, it’s a whole new world inside this artificial virtual augmented reality. All kind of action, racing car games and historic adventurous mystic games are part of video games. Where the fun never ends.
